American Mahjong Hand Builder
Learn every hand on the 2026 card by building it yourself. Pull tiles from the wall, check your work, and keep track of which hands you’ve done.
Why build hands?
When a new card comes out, experienced players often sit down with a set and build every hand, one after another. It’s one of the fastest ways to learn the year’s card because building each hand makes you slow down and notice the patterns, combinations, and details you might miss by just reading it.
Hand Builder gives you that same practice without needing a table. Build every hand on the 2026 card, and use the tracker to see what you’ve completed and what’s still left.
Check your hand
Finish building a hand and the app checks it for you. When you’re still learning to read the card, it’s easy to think a hand is right when one small detail is off. Hand Builder lets you know right away.
You’ll also see every version of that line the card allows, so you can compare them with what you built and learn the pattern as you go.
Not quite
If something’s off, the app shows which tiles are right and the closest correct hand, so you can quickly spot the difference, fix it, and keep going.
Tracker
See your progress as you learn the card. Each hand has a star, organized by section, and the stars turn gold as you build them. Open the Tracker anytime to see how far you’ve come — and what’s left to explore.
The easiest way to learn the card? Build it.
Pick a hand and put it together one tile at a time.
